WhatsApp Business

Status: roadmap. This integration is being built. Live customers can email hello@foan.me for early access.

What it will do

After a phone call, the agent can follow up on WhatsApp Business — a booking link, a payment link, a brochure, a quote.

This is one-direction (Foan → WhatsApp). Two-way WhatsApp conversations are a separate roadmap item.

Why it's not live yet

WhatsApp Business API requires Meta-side approval for message templates and a verified business profile. The OAuth and template-approval flow is heavier than SMS — we're working through it.

Workaround in the meantime

SMS covers most "send a follow-up link" use cases today. WhatsApp adds country-specific reach and richer message types (buttons, list pickers).
