Workspace isolation, the promise that matters

Every Foan workspace is its own data island. If you run two businesses on Foan, integrations connected to Workspace A can never read or write to Workspace B. Call transcripts, contact lists, knowledge bases, OAuth tokens, payment customer IDs, all scoped to a single workspace, queried server-side with the workspace ID as a hard filter on every read.

This is enforced at the database level (Postgres row-level security + admin-client workspace-id filtering), not in application code we could accidentally bypass. Cross-workspace data leakage is treated as a security incident.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

Business Information

When you use our demo or set up an agent, we scan your website to extract business information including your business name, services, products, opening hours, and contact details. This information is used to configure your AI phone agent.

Call Data

We process voice calls made through our platform. This includes call duration, timestamps, and voice audio for real-time AI processing. Call transcripts may be generated and stored to provide call summaries and history.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our service, including pages visited, features used, and device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our AI phone agent service
  • Create and configure your AI agent based on your business information
  • Process and transcribe phone calls
  • Generate call summaries and analytics
  • Communicate with you about your account and our services
  • Improve and develop new features
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Supabase, database and authentication
  • Google Gemini, AI voice processing for phone calls
  • Anthropic Claude, AI text processing for knowledge extraction
  • Firecrawl, website scanning and content extraction
  • Stripe, payment processing
  • Vercel, hosting and deployment

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Demo session data is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Call recordings are processed in real-time and not permanently stored. Call transcripts and summaries are retained as part of your account data.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Our service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
