What it will do
- Conversation creation — every Foan call opens or appends to an Intercom Conversation for the caller.
- User lookup — phone match against existing Intercom Users so context is unified.
- Summary as the first message — the agent's call summary becomes the first Intercom message.
- Operator-style escalation — conversations flagged for human follow-up land in the inbox of your Intercom team.
Why it's not live yet
Intercom's data model treats voice as a peer of chat — we want to integrate cleanly rather than bolting voice into a chat-shaped slot. Building it carefully.
