White-label setup
Half an hour of work, then you're running Foan under your brand.
1. Sign up for the agency tier
Email hello@foan.me with subject "Agency tier" — we'll spin up your agency account manually until self-serve onboarding ships.
You'll get back:
- An agency dashboard URL (initially
agency.<your-id>.foan.me) - A platform Stripe Connect account for receiving customer subscription payments
- A support escalation channel (private Slack)
2. Configure your brand
In the agency dashboard → Branding:
- Logo — upload SVG (preferred) or PNG at 2x resolution.
- Primary colour — hex code. Used for buttons, active states, focus rings.
- Wordmark — if your brand has a custom wordmark, upload it; otherwise we use your company name.
- Sign-in page copy — headline + sub-headline shown above the sign-in form.
Changes apply instantly — no redeploy. Test by opening your agency URL in an incognito tab.
3. Set up your custom domain
White-label runs at app.<your-domain>.com once you've added a CNAME pointing to wl.foan.me. We handle TLS via Let's Encrypt.
DNS:
CNAME app wl.foan.me
Propagation is usually instant on modern DNS providers (Cloudflare, Vercel DNS). Once we detect the CNAME, the agency dashboard moves from agency.<id>.foan.me to app.<your-domain>.com. Bookmarks update automatically — old URLs redirect.
4. Set your client pricing
In Branding → Pricing:
- Configure the plan tiers your clients see (Starter / Growth / Pro is a sensible default).
- Each tier has a name, monthly price, and feature list — copy is yours.
- Foan charges you the at-cost rate; the difference is your margin.
You can do per-client custom pricing for big logos by emailing us.
5. Onboard your first client
Two paths:
- Send them a sign-up link —
app.<your-domain>.com/signup. They sign up, pick a plan, and you become the merchant of record. - Provision a workspace yourself — Agency dashboard → Workspaces → New. Set their email, plan, and starting agents. They get a magic-link invite.
Option two is what most agencies use — you've already onboarded the client offline; the dashboard is a delivery mechanism.
6. Tell your clients (optional)
Most agencies don't tell their clients they're "using Foan under the hood" — same way you don't tell them what hosting provider you use. The white-label is total: no foan.me references, no Foan logo on their dashboard, no mention of Foan in the call audio.
What's not yet self-serve
A few things still need our team:
- Sub-agencies (white-label inside white-label) — email us
- Custom email sender domain for password resets — email us
- Custom SMS sender ID — email us
- Anything beyond 50 client workspaces — flat-rate quote on request
We're working through these in priority order. Voting from existing agencies decides what ships next.
