Voices

The voice picker lives on the Voice tab in agent settings. The list is filtered to the language you chose under Settings — if you set the agent to Spanish, you only see Spanish voices.

What's included

Every paid plan includes the full ElevenLabs Flash voice library — 30+ professional voices across English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Hindi, Arabic, Mandarin, and more. Press play next to any voice to preview a 5-second sample.

The locale flags (UK, IE, US, ES, and the rest in the footer) each pick out a curated subset for that country — Charlotte and Charlie for UK, Aoife for Ireland, etc.

Fast mode

Fast mode swaps to Gemini Live's native-audio voices. They're faster (sub-second response time) and cheaper but the voice library is smaller. Toggle Fast mode in Settings → Voice.

When Fast mode is on, the language picker still works, but the voice list switches to Gemini's catalogue (Kore, Orus, Puck, Charon, etc.). The same voice name is used across all 11 supported locales — only the system prompt language changes.

Voice cloning

Voice cloning is gated to Pro and above. Upload a 30-second clean sample of the voice you want and Foan generates a custom voice that's available across every agent in the workspace. Use cases:

  • Founder voice — the agent sounds like the company owner.
  • Brand actor — keep the same voice across calls, ads, and IVR.
  • Multilingual self — clone once, speak in 11 languages.

Voice cloning uses ElevenLabs' Instant Voice Cloning. Quality scales with sample quality — clean recording, single speaker, no background music.

Picking a voice

A few rules of thumb:

  • Match the company. A boutique law firm wants a different voice than a discount tyre shop.
  • Match the locale. Don't put a US voice on a UK number — listeners notice within seconds.
  • Test on a real call. Voices that sound great in the preview can clash with your greeting. Use Test call before going live.

Pricing

ElevenLabs Flash voices are included in every paid plan with no upcharge. Cloned voices are included on Pro and above. Gemini Fast mode is included on every plan.
