The funnel — what actually counts

Your dashboard shows six stats. From left to right:

1. Clicks — every visit to your foan.me/r/<your-code> link. Gives you a sense of reach.
2. Leads — anonymous demo runs by people who clicked your link. They tested Foan but didn't sign up. Worth following up.
3. Signups — clicks that turned into Foan accounts.
4. Paid — signups that became paying customers. This is the one that pays you.
5. Earned — your lifetime gross commission.
6. Withdrawable — what you can cash out right now.

Attribution — how we make sure you get credit

Every visit to your link sets a cookie called foan_ref on the visitor's browser. The cookie lasts 90 days. If they sign up any time in that window, you get the credit — even if they came back via a different channel.

We also track signed-up signups via the email — so if a friend tells someone "use Corinna's link" and they sign up via direct typing, you can email us and we'll attribute manually.

Cookie blockers, ad blockers, mobile

These do block tracking on some browsers (Safari, Firefox in private mode). Two protections:

1. We log every click server-side (the affiliate dashboard's "Clicks" stat counts these correctly).
2. We always email confirmation when a signup happens via your link — you'll know within minutes.

The withdrawable rules

• Earnings accrue when a referred user becomes a paying customer (i.e., status flips from signup to converted after their first paid invoice).
• Earnings update again every time the customer pays their next invoice.
• You can request a payout when withdrawable hits £50+.
• Pending requests stop you double-claiming the same balance.
• Refunds in the customer's first 30 days reduce your balance. After 30 days, refunds don't claw back.

The bigger asymmetry

You're paid recurring on a SaaS. The customer pays Foan forever (median lifetime is years). One signed roofer is more valuable than ten one-shot affiliate deals on a course or a Shopify dropshipping toy. Build with us, not on us.

Stripe Connect

When you're approved, you'll see "Set up Stripe Connect" in your dashboard. This takes 5 minutes — it asks for your name, address, bank details. After that, payouts settle automatically. No invoicing.
