White-label setup

6 min read

The Foan agency tier ships a white-label surface your clients see at <your-slug>.foan.me. Setting it up is five minutes of admin and pays for itself the first time a client refers their cousin.

The subdomain

Your slug becomes the public host. Bobs Marketing → bobsmarketing.foan.me. We provision it the moment your application is approved. Once live:

  • Your clients sign up at <your-slug>.foan.me/signup. Anyone who signs up there is automatically attributed to you, no ?ref= link required.
  • The dashboard at <your-slug>.foan.me/dashboard carries your branding (logo, colour, support contact).
  • Your subdomain is locked down so visitors can't accidentally land on /dashboard/agency or /admin — those are agency-owner surfaces, only reachable from www.foan.me.

What customers see

  • Your logo on the header pill, your colour as the primary accent.
  • Your support email and phone on the help banner instead of the Foan one.
  • A footer that names you, with optional "Powered by Foan" link (defaults off — flip it on if you want the attribution).

What we keep

  • The Foan platform plumbing — billing, voice, bridge, integrations.
  • foan.me legal pages (privacy, terms) link from your footer because the contract is technically with Foan. We are working on a paid tier that flips this so you can serve your own legal docs.

Setting it all up

  1. Visit /dashboard/agency.
  2. Upload your logo (PNG with transparent background works best).
  3. Pick your primary colour. Use the preset swatches or paste a hex.
  4. Set support email + phone if you want clients calling/emailing you, not us.
  5. Save. The change is live within ~60 seconds.

When to flip "Powered by Foan" on

Almost never. The point of the white-label is that you look like the operator. The "Powered by" link is there for transparency requirements (rare) or for affiliates who want to namedrop us. If you turn it on, it's a small grey link in the footer — we kept it deliberately quiet.
