Your toolkit — links, copy, contacts

3 min read

Key takeaway: Most of what you need is already in your dashboard. This lesson is the map.

Every link you'll use

What URL
Your dashboard foan.me/dashboard/affiliate
Your referral link foan.me/r/<your-code>
Tailored demo for prospect X foan.me/r/<your-code>/demo/<their-domain>
Marketing page (send to prospects) foan.me/affiliates
Pricing foan.me/pricing
Niche-specific landing pages foan.me/for/[slug] (e.g. /for/roofers)
The 8 customer care use-cases foan.me/customer-care
The receptionist marketing page foan.me/reception
Outbound sales page foan.me/sales
Foan Docs foan.me/docs

The niche pages (/for/roofers, /for/personal-injury-lawyers, etc.) are SEO landing pages with calculators specific to each trade. Drop these in DMs / emails when prospects are in those niches.

The marketing copy in your dashboard

In your affiliate dashboard, scroll down to Marketing copy. There you'll find pre-written:

  • LinkedIn DM
  • Cold email
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp message
  • Twitter/X reply
  • Trade-show one-liner

All have your link injected automatically. Copy, edit if you want to make it sound more like you, send.

Your photo and bio (coming)

We're adding affiliate profile pages soon — your face, your trades, your story, on a public URL prospects can see. Until then, you can put together a short LinkedIn post or a Loom intro and use that.

Your follow-up cadence

The successful affiliates we see follow this pattern:

  • Day 0: demo done, signup link sent.
  • Day 1: SMS check-in ("Did you get the link? Need help with setup?").
  • Day 3: "Has the agent picked up any calls yet?"
  • Day 7: "What's working, what isn't?"
  • Day 30: "Quick check — happy?" + ask for referrals if happy.

Keep this in your CRM (or a spreadsheet). The follow-up is where most affiliates lose deals.

Contacts

  • General affiliate support: affiliates@foan.me
  • Tech / product issues: hello@foan.me
  • Founders directly (don't abuse): max@foan.me
  • Slack channel (if you're invited): #foan-affiliates

When something goes wrong

Situation Email
Referral isn't showing up affiliates@foan.me with timestamps
Customer wants to cancel and you want to save it affiliates@foan.me — we'll loop in CS
Customer found a real product bug hello@foan.me with reproduction steps
You've got a feature request hello@foan.me — we read everything
You want to change your code or commission terms max@foan.me

Final word

You're early. Foan's not a household name yet — that's why your commission is 20% and not 5%. The affiliates who put in the work in the first 12 months will have a decade of compounded income. You're building something for yourself, not for us.

Welcome aboard. Now go make a roofer's day.
