Real Calendly bookings during the call, not "we will get back to you".
Suggest open Calendly slots and book bookings during the call. Confirms email letter-by-letter before sending the invite.
What this does
-
Reads your Calendly availability live while the caller is on the line.
-
Offers concrete times like "Tuesday at 2 or Thursday at 10", not "someone will call you".
-
Confirms the booking before hangup. The Calendly invite hits both inboxes inside 5 seconds.
-
Reads the email back letter by letter so a typo does not kill the confirmation.
-
Falls back gracefully when nothing fits ("the soonest is next Wednesday at 11, does that work?").
Why this matters
Real reasons Calendly pays for itself, written for the businesses that actually use it.
Solo lawyers, accountants, financial advisors
A prospect rings at 6pm asking about a consultation. You're in a meeting. By tomorrow morning they've called two competitors. The agent picks up in two seconds and books them in before they hang up.
Therapists and counsellors
Most enquiries come at lunch hour or after work, exactly when you cannot answer. The agent quietly fills your diary while you're in session.
Sales teams qualifying inbound
Discovery calls die when there's a 24-hour gap between enquiry and booking. The agent books them on the same call, before they cool off.
Wedding photographers, planners
You're shooting on a Saturday, your phone rings, you cannot pick it up. The agent books a venue tour for next week and sends the invite. The lead is still warm when you get back.
How it works
Setup takes a few minutes. The integration runs on every relevant call afterwards.
- 1
Connect once
Click Connect on the dashboard. Standard Calendly OAuth, the same flow Calendly uses for every other partner app. We never see your password.
- 2
Pick the event type
Choose which Calendly event the agent is allowed to book. Usually a 15 or 30 minute consultation. The agent only books that one.
- 3
Agent uses it on every relevant call
Whenever the caller wants to book, the agent calls Calendly for slots, picks one with the caller, and confirms server-side. The booking lands in Calendly within 2 to 3 seconds.
A real call
A consultation booking
A first-time caller asks to speak to the lawyer.
Could I schedule a consultation?
Of course. Tomorrow afternoon I have 2pm or 3:30 with Sarah. Which works?
2pm please.
Booked. Could I confirm your email so the invite goes through?
jane@acme.com
J-A-N-E at A-C-M-E dot com. Sending the invite now. See you at 2 tomorrow.

Common questions
Does the agent need a paid Calendly plan?
▼
No. The agent uses Calendly's scheduling-link API (works on every plan) to send the caller a one-tap confirmation link with their details pre-filled and the calendar pre-navigated to the agreed day. Tap, confirm, done.
What if the caller wants a slot Calendly says is taken?
▼
The agent offers the next two available, and if neither works, captures the preferred time and emails it to you for a manual booking.
Can I limit what the agent books?
▼
Yes. Pick exactly one event type when connecting. Anything else stays off-limits, even if the caller asks.
Worth doing the maths first
How much are missed calls actually costing you?
If you're not sure Calendly pays for itself, run our calculator. Most service businesses recover the Foan subscription in the first three captured calls.
